Megan Thee Stallion has turned up the summer heat by announcing her new album, MEGAN, out June 28th.
The Houston rapper hasn’t shared any further details about her follow-up to 2022’s Traumazine, but the MEGAN tracklist likely features the three singles she’s released since going independent late last year: “Cobra” (and its rock remix), “Hiss,” “BOA.” It could also include a new remix of her GloRilla collab “Wanna Be.”

In a recent interview with L’Officiel, Megan described the album’s general feel. “I don’t want to say I’m tapping into other genres. I’m just tapping into other sounds,” she said. “It won’t feel like I went so left. It’ll feel true to me. You’ll almost be like, I wouldn’t have thought she would’ve rapped over that, but this sounds great.”
Earlier this year, Megan told Women’s Health she was “inspired to create this album about rebirth because I feel I am becoming a new person physically and mentally.”
Megan is currently on her “Hot Girl Summer Tour” (get tickets here) with GloRilla opening on US dates and recently played BottleRock 2024.
