Martin Garrix has scaled Spotify’s streaming annals to the tune of an astonishing 11 billion.
That means his music is currently being streamed over two million times a day, according to data from Kworb. The superstar DJ and dance music producer is also now the 145th most-streamed artist in Spotify history.
Garrix’s most popular songs on the platform today are “In The Name of Love” (with Bebe Rexha), “Scared to Be Lonely” (with Dua Lipa) and “Summer Days” (with Macklemore and Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump). Those three hits alone have been played over three billion times on Spotify.
The Dutch producer broke through over a decade ago thanks in part to 2013’s big room anthem “Animals.” That track is now considered a generational dance anthem and has amassed nearly 400 million streams on Spotify at the time of writing.
