LONDON — First Blue Ivy practically stole the “Renaissance” Tour from Beyoncé.
Now it’s Madonna’s 11-year-old daughter Estere showing that she got it from her mama, at the opening of the Queen of Pop’s “Celebration” Tour at the O2 in London on Saturday.
Estere — who has a twin sister, Stella — demonstrated that she most definitely knows how to strike a fierce pose when she worked the runway to her mother’s classic dance anthem “Vogue.”
In a nod to the underground ballroom culture that Madonna brought to the masses with her 1990 No. 1 hit and its iconic video, Madge and her oldest daughter, Lourdes — who celebrated her 27th birthday on Saturday — served as judges for Estere and her fellow voguers.
And Estere certainly scored big with the familial panel, with her hand handiwork especially deserving of 10s across the board.
She wasn’t the only one of Madonna’s children to perform on their mother’s big comeback stage after a serious bacterial infection sent her to the ICU for several days in late June, forcing a three-month postponement of her 40th-anniversary tour.
The pop superstar’s son, David Banda, 18, also joined the Material Girl, making like Prince on guitar for a bit of “Let’s Go Crazy” that had the audience doing just that. And he also strummed along on “Mother and Father,” a touching tribute to Madonna’s late mom and his own.
Then there was Madge’s daughter Mercy James, 17, taking the piano to play alongside her mother during a rare performance of the “Erotica” single “Bad Girl.” Meanwhile, Stella hoofed it up on on the cowboy bop “Don’t Tell Me.”
All six of Madonna’s children — including son Rocco, 23, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie — were in attendance to support their mom on the comeback trail.
The 65-year-old singer credits her children for giving her the will to survive when “I didn’t think I was gonna make it.”
“I forgot five days of my life — or my death,” she said. “But my children were there — and my children always save me every time.”
