The new track follows the release of his recent song ‘Let You Go’ and does so in the style of an unusually high-energy heartbreak anthem.
London-based pop singer/songwriter Luís Fernandes has released his latest single, ‘Try, Try, Try.’ On it, Fernandes combines a fun, upbeat production with lyrics that delve into the emotional complexities of moving on after a breakup.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Fernandes explains:
“‘Try, Try, Try’ is a song about trying to get over a breakup by replacing them with meaningless flings. You try and fill that void by seeking intimacy with strangers, but it never ends up working; you simply end up getting even more hurt.”
He continues:
“I wanted to make it as catchy as possible, and I feel like the hook gets stuck in your head, which is totally what I was going for,” says Fernandes. “The production is fun and upbeat, but the contrast with the lyrics is what I feel makes this song really interesting.”
