Live Nation is killing its ‘Lawnie Pass’ offering at several outdoor amphitheaters across the United States. The summer-long pass offered access to a ‘fast lane’ at entry gates for $239 and sold out in 2024.

The Instagram post making the announcement writes, “we are working on new and exciting programs for summer concert season. While there will not be a Lawnie Pass program in 2025, previous Lawnies will be the first to hear about these new offerings.”

“We are so grateful to our Lawnie community and we can’t wait to share more with you soon. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming show this summer.”

The 2025 Lawnie Pass sold for $239 and gave attendees access to a ‘fast lane’ at entry gates, a personalized credential for entry, free parking, unlimited lawn seating at multiple concerts at the venue throughout the summer season. The pass typically covered around 25 concerts per season, which contributed to a rise in attendance.

The elimination of lawn passes is just one of the latest changes made to the concert experience. In November, Live Nation confirmed that concertgoers will have to pay at least $20 for parking to attend events. Premier, VIP, and oversized car/limo parking is also available for a higher fee. Another change is that concertgoers are barred from bringing their own low-rise chairs for lawn shows. Instead, concertgoers will be required to rent chairs from the venue at $15 a pop.

Live Nation is fond of offering all access passes at events with low attendance in order to boost them—these promotions don’t last forever. One example is the limited $59 Club Pass offering access to concerts at select clubs throughout 2022. An unlimited pass was available for $299 and included concerts at all of Live Nation’s participating clubs. The move is intended to boost attendance and once those numbers are up—all access promos usually kick the bucket. The same is true with Live Nation’s $20 all-in tickets promo which crops up periodically.
