Lindsay Lohan shocked by 'fire crotch' joke in 'Mean Girls'

Warning: Spoilers ahead.

Not very fetch.

Lindsay Lohan attended the “Mean Girls” movie musical premiere — and even makes a surprise cameo in it. And yet, she had no idea that a joke mentioning “fire crotch” made it into the script.

In a 2006 paparazzi video, Brandon Davis referred to Lohan as a “fire crotch.”

In the film, Megan Thee Stallion makes a dig toward Cady (played by Angourie Rice) and her Christmas-themed talent show outfit.

“Y2K fire crotch is back,” she says.

Lohan’s rep released a statement about the scene on Monday, noting: “Lindsay was very hurt and disappointed by the reference in the film.”

A source also told the Messenger that Lohan was “surprised and taken aback” when she first heard the reference at the New York City premiere of the movie at the AMC Lincoln Square theater on Jan. 8.

The “Parent Trap” actress originated the role of Cady in 2004’s “Mean Girls,” which also starred Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Jonathan Bennett, Amy Poehler, Tim Meadows, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Franzese, and Tina Fey, who wrote both films.

The “Saturday Night Live” alum returns in the new film as her character, math teacher Ms. Norbury. In a recent interview with the New York Times, she revealed why McAdams, Seyfried and Chabert didn’t make cameos in the new musical movie.

“They’re busy people, so it didn’t come together, but we tried, and we all love each other,” she explained.

“I have other things that I’d like to do. But I have so much gratitude that this movie seemed to stick with people,” she went on. “When I look at it, I am reminded of how hard I worked on it in the first place. I feel like the bricks and mortar of it were the absolute best possible job I was capable of at the time. It’s not perfect, but it holds water.”

She continued: “To me, part of why the stakes are so high in the story is because everyone’s so young and feelings are huge, love is huge and friendship is huge in a way [that it isn’t with] middle-age moms. I love writing about middle-aged people, but I don’t know.”

The new flick stars Rice, Reneé Rapp, Auli’i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Christopher Briney, Jenna Fischer, Meadows, Jon Hamm, Ashley Park and Busy Philipps.
