Juice WRLD’s third and final posthumous project is on the way.
Lil Bibby—the founder of Juice’s record label, Grade A Productions—announced the news via Instagram on Saturday along with a video of the late rapper jamming out in the studio. Bibby told fans he wanted the upcoming album “to feel like a celebration,” as he believed the time of mourning had passed.
“I want everyone that Juice loved while he was here to help celebrate,” he wrote in the caption, “especially his fans who he loved! You guys have been the best fans an artist can have (Minus the death threats to Bibby) 😂🙏🏽❤️. I’m not gonna complain but I’ll jus say this is not easy. We miss you, We love you 999 til the world ends.”
Bibby did not reveal any more details about the release, including its expected drop and possible song titles. The effort will mark the first Juice album since 2021’s Fighting Demons, a 22-track project that included contributions from Trippie Redd, Polo G, Justin Beiber, and BTS. Juice’s first posthumous album, Legends Never Die, arrived in summer 2020, about six months after he died of an accidental overdose of codeine and oxycodone.
The upcoming record is reportedly titled The Party Never Ends—a phrase that appeared in the Legends Never Die outro.
Since announcing the project in 2021, Bibby has expressed frustration over a series of song leaks, and allegedly threatened to scrap the album if the unauthorized drops continued.
Still, fans have had plenty of new music from Juice WRLD. Last December, “Face 2 Face” was released and in 2023, he appeared on Trippie Redd’s Mansion Musik on the song “Knight Crawler.”
