Lil Baby blessed fans by dropping off two new tracks, “In a Minute” and “Right On,” as well as accompanying music videos for the songs. The video for “Right On” was directed by Shaq Gonzoe while Baby got into the director chair himself for “In a Minute.”
“Fucc It I Just Dropped 2 Videos !!! ‘Right On’ Out now… #mysummerstartsnow,” Baby wrote on social media after unleashing the two cuts. It’s unclear if the two tracks are loosies or if they will land on an upcoming project from the rapper. Baby released his last solo studio album, My Turn, back in February of 2020. In 2021, he linked with Lil Durk for the collaborative album The Voice of the Heroes.
Speaking of My Turn, the project recently broke a Billboard record by spending an impressive 85 weeks in the top 10 of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, beating out Post Malone’s record of 84 weeks on the chart with his 2019 album Hollywood Bleeding.
Back in March, Baby took to Twitter to notify the world that it’s going to “be a nastyyyyy summer” and that it’s his “turn again.”
Also in 2022, Baby connected with Nicki Minaj on the tracks “Do We Have A Problem?” and “Bussin.”
