Las Vegas has seen it all, from extravagant magic shows to gravity-defying acrobatic feats, but nothing can quite prepare a city for the force of nature that is FISHER. And now, Sin City is giving him his own day.
Ahead of his upcoming show at TAO Beach Dayclub, the city of Las Vegas has declared March 30th “Day of The Fish,” a representative of Tao Group Hospitality tells EDM.com. They even reeled in the mayor of Las Vegas, Carolyn Goodman, who signed an official proclamation.
Mayoral proclamations are typically signed and issued for the purpose of public awareness, education or civic duties. But considering the chart-topping DJ has always had a flair for the dramatic, it’s no wonder Goodman took the bait and named a day in his honor.
“We welcome [FISHER] to Las Vegas and thank him for bringing his energy and music to our fabulous city,” reads the proclamation.
