The visit at a Jollibee branch in Taguig City comes as the American band brings its ‘a beautiful blur’ world tour to Bulacan and Cebu
MANILA, Philippines — Filipino fans of American band LANY did not have to go “super far” to meet their favorite artist.
Paul Klein and Jake Goss greeted Filipino fans by working behind the counter at a Jollibee branch in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City on Friday, October 11.
Klein and the official LANY account first surprised fans with Instagram stories that they will be personally accommodating customers.
Klein also teased his appearance with a video of him wearing a Jollibee uniform in his hotel room, and posted a video of the crowd outside the BGC branch.
“U guys r the best [sic],” Klein said to his Filipino fans.
An Instagram story by music label UMG Philippines showed fans singing along to “XXL” ahead of LANY’s visit.
LANY will bring its “a beautiful blur” world tour to the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Saturday, October 12, and the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino in Cebu on Sunday, October 13 to Tuesday, October 15. – Rappler.com
