Kygo's Palm Tree Crew and Tao Hospitality Group Partner to Open New Las Vegas Dayclub

Few names in contemporary music have cultivated a brand as expansive and ambitious as Kygo’s Palm Tree Crew. The “Higher Love” producer’s company is now making its boldest foray yet with the announcement of Palm Tree Beach Club at MGM Grand, a luxurious day club and high-profile newcomer to the Las Vegas Strip.

Teaming up with Tao Group Hospitality, the Norwegian DJ and producer’s lifestyle brand will debut its 60,000 square-foot venue just in time for pool season in May 2025, according to a press release shared with EDM.com. Delivering a blend of tropical escapism, world-class entertainment and high-end hospitality, the venture underscores Kygo’s swelling influence in the business community and broader entertainment culture far beyond the reaches of his music alone.

Palm Tree Beach Club is a lavish addition to the city’s storied daylife offerings, boasting a saltwater pool, 12 private bungalows, 10 cabanas and a sprawling space for over 3,000 guests. Palm Tree Crew co-founder Myles Shear described it a natural progression for the Palm Tree Crew, which is rapidly expanding its footprint in the sector.

“For the past four years, Palm Tree Crew has been committed to creating unforgettable live music experiences around the world,” Shear said. “As we continue to expand into the hospitality sector, it’s only fitting for Palm Tree Crew to take on the ultimate entertainment spot: Las Vegas.”

Las Vegas is, of course, no stranger to ambitious entertainment concepts, but Palm Tree Crew’s approach represents something a unique melding of coastal charm and music culture that feels as effortless as it does aspirational. In bringing their signature “tropical state of mind” to the Strip, Kygo and his team are betting big that audiences will embrace a new kind of day club experience.

The brand’s Las Vegas debut is just the latest milestone for an organization that has set a very high standard for what it means to be a musician-led enterprise. Palm Tree Crew began as a loose extension of Kygo’s tropical house aesthetic but has since evolved into an empire spanning live events, a record label, lifestyle apparel and now high-end hospitality. The company’s recent hospitality ventures include Miami’s Palm Tree Club—a renovated waterfront hotel and restaurant—and Palm Tree Club Orlando, a nightlife destination combining coastal dining with curated entertainment.

By partnering with Tao Group Hospitality, Palm Tree Crew is aligning itself with an industry titan. With a portfolio of more than 80 locations across four continents, Tao has long been a pioneer in crafting upscale nightlife and dining experiences. Co-CEO Jason Strauss emphasized the synergy between the two brands.

“We constantly innovate and strive to be at the forefront of hospitality,” Strauss said. “When the prospect of creating a new venue with Kygo, Myles Shear, and their Palm Tree Crew brand presented itself, we jumped at the opportunity to bring a new boutique, festival-style experience to the Las Vegas market for the first time.”

Details on ticket sales and the club’s grand opening lineup are expected to be announced early this year.
