Kississippi releases irresistible summer breakup banger ‘Last Time’ / Announces damned if i do it for you EP

The track is the first glimpse into her upcoming EP damned if i do it for you, which is set to drop on July 26.
New single, ‘Last Time’ captures the essence of Kississippi’s ability to blend cheeky pop sensibilities with profound emotional depth. The song emerged from a raw and personal experience during a performance, where she was confronted with the presence of an ex-partner in the audience.
Reflecting on the moment, Kississippi, born Zoe Reynolds, explains:
“As I took the stage with only a drum machine and mic, it hit me that I was essentially doing karaoke to these songs about unrequited love, knowing that the person I wrote them about was in the next room with someone else. ‘Last Time’ is about realizing someone you love has moved on before you know it, and the irony of having to do it live, in front of an audience.”
The forthcoming EP damned if i do it for you promises to be an unrelenting exploration into the heart. Reuniting with producer Andy Park (Future Teens, Death Cab For Cutie), Kississippi delves into fresh life experiences with a newfound sense of self. Collaborations with Dan Campbell (The Wonder Years), Sarah Tudzin (Illuminati Hotties), and Maddie Ross add depth to this introspective journey.
