They say you should never meet your idols. But if you ask pro quarterback Joe Burrow if that old adage holds, he’d probably tell you that it doesn’t. At least in the case of his friendship with fellow Ohio legend Kid Cudi.
Not only did Burrow grow up listening to Cudi, he’s close enough to him now that he says meeting the rapper was like two “long-lost brothers” reconnecting. According to both men, they bonded over their shared Ohio roots, as well as the power of music and a mutual desire to be good role models to their fans.
