One of the standout tracks on Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers now has a video.
On Saturday, K-Dot unveiled the visual for “N95,” co-directed by himself and Dave Free. The video sees K-Dot—and at a few different points, Baby Keem—float through various scenes in both black-and-white and color as he sits by a payphone, workout on a roof, and stand on water.
The clip starts off with the words “THIS SHIT HARD” plastered over a view of a beach, where a young boy watches Lamar stand on top of water, dressed in all white. Kendrick can then be seen sitting piano side, running away from a group of men, and driving a vehicle with Keem sitting in the back.
At the 2:24 mark, Keem even gives his big cousin a kiss, prompting a funny reaction from K-Dot. And just as it began, the clip ends with “THIS SHIT HARD” taking over the screen yet again, after a skateboarder—credited as Tyshawn Jones in the YouTube description—shows off a few different moves.
The visual follows K-Dot’s last video for “The Heart Part 5,” which was shared last Friday before the album released. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers has now been out for two days, and with an accompanying video for what’s starting to become the most-streamed track on the project, it’s possible Lamar might have another radio hit on his hands with this one.
