Just ahead of his co-headlining “Grand National Tour” with SZA, Kendrick Lamar has dropped a new music video for their No. 1 hit collaboration, “luther.” Watch it below.
Kendrick and SZA spend most of the Karena Evans-directed visual apart, with each seducing a potential partner while performing their individual parts of the song. There is a brief scene, however, when they sit on neighboring benches in a comically large hallway.

The video ends with an extended sample of Luther Vandross’ contribution to Cheryl Lynn’s “If This World Were Mine,” which forms the backbone of the “luther” instrumental. After Kendrick and SZA performed the track during his Super Bowl Halftime Show, the GNX collab gradually climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has spent seven consecutive weeks atop the chart.
