Prog-rock legends Kansas have extended their ongoing 50th anniversary North American tour, adding a final leg of fall US dates.
The newly announced shows run from September 24th in Thousand Oaks, California, all the way through December 11th in Pittsburgh. Along the way, they’ll play shows in Topeka, KS; Austin, TX; Rockford, IL; Fayetteville, NC; Reading, PA; and more.
A Live Nation pre-sale starts Wednesday (March 20th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code KEY, while general ticket sales start Friday (March 22nd) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
“This tour has already been incredibly special for the band,” stated Kansas guitarist Richard Williams via a press release. “The 50th Anniversary Tour started in 2023 which commemorates Kansas’ first year as a band. It is continuing in 2024, which commemorates the release of the first Kansas album.”
Continued Williams: “There are so many places in the US where we haven’t been able to play yet, Topeka and Wichita just to name two. We knew we would have to add a third and final leg to the tour. After such a successful and sold-out premiere of the tour in Pittsburgh, PA, we wanted to put an exclamation point on the tour by having the closing 50th Anniversary Tour concert take place back there at the Benedum Center.”
The fall leg will follow Kansas’ previously announced 50th anniversary tour dates that run from the remainder of March through mid-May. You can see the full list of Kansas’ 2024 tour dates below. Get tickets here.
