Kai Cenat has revealed he is working on KC Fest, a “huge” festival that the Twitch streamer is currently planning the set list for.
The Twitch star has ensured his name will go down in streaming history with legendary gaming marathons, celebrity collaborations, and a desire to give back to his fans.
Now, Kai is looking to spread his wings and step away from his usual content by planning something the streamer has never done before – a music festival.
Dubbed “KC Fest”, with his initials making up the first two letters of the event’s name, Kai promised viewers they would want a ticket once the set list was released.
While he is keeping details about the festival under wraps for now, Kai described KC Fest as a “huge festival” and promised an exciting line-up.
He insisted that when things were finalized, viewers would “want a ticket” upon seeing the setlist: “I guarantee it. I’m letting ya’ll know this right now.”
However, it doesn’t appear everything is set in stone just yet as Kai said KC Fest’s planned set depended on whether he could confirm who he hoped for as the headliner. Nonetheless, the streamer was “in conversation with a lot of people” and felt confident that it was going to be “done”.
Kai hinted that the festival could also be a “weekend” event rather than running for a single night, and revealed it would be streamed “high quality as if we are watching on Amazon Prime.” He hoped the festival would be held at Maddison Square Garden in New York, but admitted he wasn’t sure “how it goes cost-wise.”
Despite the lack of information about KC Fest for the time being, fans are already expressing excitement over Kai’s “insane” plan and sharing they “can’t wait” for it to take place. Others though are worried the streamer’s involvement may result in another riot after his giveaway in New York City went awry.
“It’s gonna end up like that New York giveaway thing he did,” one person said. Another sarcastically added, “Yeah, ’cause the last event he did, went soooo well.”
