Justin Timberlake Announces New Album, Shares “Selfish”


Justin Timberlake has announced his first new album in six years, Everything I Thought It Was, set for release on March 15th via RCA Records. As a preview, he’s shared the album’s first single, “Selfish,” along with the track’s official music video. Watch it below.

Everything I Thought It Was marks Justin Timberlake’s return after 2018’s lukewarm Man of the Woods. Selfish” was written by Timberlake, Louis Bell (Taylor Swift, Post Malone), Cirkut (Maroon 5, The Weeknd), Theron Thomas, and Amy Allen, and produced by Timberlake, Louis Bell and Cirkut.

Justin Timberlake will perform as the musical guest on this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live alongside host Dakota Johnson. Timberlake has also announced a free one-night-only concert at New York City’s Irving Plaza set for Wednesday, January 31st. The ticket request window ends Friday, January 26th at 11:59pm; request tickets here.

Justin Timberlake previously reunited *NSYNC last year to release their first new song in 20 years, “Better Place,” for the film Trolls Band Together. Timberlake also joined forces with longtime collaborators Timbaland and Nelly Furtado on the song “Keep Going Up.”
