The Jonas Brothers have sold “a significant portion” of their catalog, but the IP is staying in the family – with a Kevin Jonas Sr.-founded “investment entity” assuming ownership.

Said entity refers specifically to Jonas Catalog Holdings 1 (JCH1), which is partnered with Jonas Sr.’s Jonas Group Entertainment (JGE). Nashville-based JGE, for its part, handles talent management, brand development, and more – besides operating Jonas Group Publishing, Jonas Catalog Holdings proper, and Red Van Records alike.

Shifting the focus to the actual song-rights sale, JGE/JCH1 opted against publicly disclosing a comprehensive list of involved works. However, the buyer did indicate that the transaction encompasses the act’s “two most recent albums, Happiness Begins and The Album,” on top of “Like It’s Christmas” (2019) and “Remember This” (2021).

Additionally, Jonas Group Entertainment “will oversee and serve as the exclusive manager of the acquired assets” – handling everything from admin and sync to licensing and catalog development, the appropriate entities spelled out.

“The foundation for every successful artist is the song, and Nick, Joe, and Kevin are extraordinary songwriters,” added Jonas Group Publishing president Leslie T. DiPiero. “Their music has touched and inspired a generation of fans and fellow artists. It’s a privilege to welcome this body of work into the JGP family.”

On the funding front, JCH1 said it’d recently finalized “an up to $300 million catalog acquisition platform.” Corrum Capital led this debt financing, with other participants including Bardin Hill, Cliffwater, and One William Street.

Plus, Teresa Miles Walsh’s Access Media Advisory contributed by providing “guidance and counsel” to JCH1, according to the announcement.

(The Jonas Brothers also rattled off some of their non-music investments, among them Backstage Popcorn, temperature-controlled-mug business Ember, and soda company OLIPOP. Could Jonas Brothers airplanes be next? Corrum is quite prominent in the aviation world, its website shows.)

Running with the points, Jonas Group Entertainment took the opportunity to emphasize its other IP holdings – extending to the work of Julia Michaels on the straight catalog side and to Rhett Akins, Amy Stroup (as well as the Danger Twins), and Justin Ebach when it comes to both catalog and futures.

Looking ahead to the remainder of 2025, the Jonas Brothers’ crowded schedule includes an album release next month, a related tour that’ll run into November, and the premiere of a planned Disney+ “holiday comedy.”
