Australian rockers Jet have announced a 2025 North American tour featuring support from Band of Skulls.
The outing kicks off May 27th in Toronto, and runs through a June 15th show in Minneapolis, hitting New York City, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, and other East Coast/Midwest markets along the way.
Artist and Live Nation pre-sales are under way using the codes JET2025 and OCTAVE, respectively. A general on-sale starts Friday (January 24th) via Ticketmaster.
Last year, Jet hit the States as part of their ongoing tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album, Get Born (read our review of their October gig at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom). This time around, it’s simply billed as a straight-up tour, although it’s very likely the band will perform Get Born hits like “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” and “Cold Hard Bitch.”
Fans can also expect to hear new music from Jet, who’ve been working on their first album since 2009’s Shaka Rock. The band previewed the as-yet-untitled LP with two new singles this past September, “Hurry Hurry” and its B-side “Un’avventura.”
Meanwhile, support act Band of Skulls revealed last year that they’ve begun working on a long-awaited new album. The UK rock act’s most recent LP is 2019’s Love Is All You Love.
