Jaxsta, the largest dedicated database of music credits worldwide, has announced its Heads of Agreement to acquire Vampr, the world’s leading music industry social network.
The world’s only official music credits database, is acquiring Vampr, the leading music industry social network to connect musicians, creatives, and artists to collaborate, create, and monetize their work. Jaxsta CEO Beth Appleton announced early Wednesday that the two entities would join forces. This acquisition provides an accelerated implementation of Jaxsta’s growth strategy, immediately increasing its footprint in the creator community and expanding its potential user base.
The award-winning Vampr app and user base represent a growing portion of the independent music community. Vampr’s freemium business model currently converts 4% of weekly active users into paying subscribers and is expected to accelerate when Vampr Pro is bundled into the Jaxsta Creator subscription. Combining these products creates a more compelling suite for independent artists and musicians.
