Jack Harlow is getting some polarizing reactions to his new shirtless album cover.
The Louisville, Kentucky native took to his social media pages to reveal the art for Jackman, slated to arrive on Friday, April 28. Fans are having a field day with the photo, which shows Harlow standing in an alley with his arms crossed in front of him and without a shirt.
Fans wasted no time heading to Harlow’s IG comments section to leave their opinions on the album cover. While many saluted the curly-haired rapper, a bunch let the 25-year-old get an earful. “I just collapsed in Target on aisle G40 send help,” one person wrote. Another added, “Some weight gainer protein would do you wonders my guy.” A different user chimed in with, “Literally nothing could have prepared me for this but I can’t wait.”
Jack Harlow’s Jackman comes as a surprise for fans since he hasn’t released a lead single or done any promo prior to the cover reveal. Jackman comes almost a year after Harlow dropped his sophomore album Come Home the Kids Miss You, and less than a month before he stars in Hulu’s White Men Can’t Jump reboot.
The “First Class” MC’s sophomore effort debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart, earning 113,000 album-equivalent units in its first week and becoming Harlow’s highest-charting album of his career. It contained features from Pharrell Williams, Drake, Justin Timberlake, and Lil Wayne, with production credits from Timbaland, JetsonMade, Boi-1da, and more.
