Doritos has tapped hip-hop star Jack Harlow for its Super Bowl 2023 advertising campaign.

The ad spend surrounding the Super Bowl has always been astronomical thanks to it being the most viewed sporting event in America. The chip brand has tapped Harlow to help advertise its Doritos BBQ flavors. Harlow pulls up in a limo with hundreds of fans and paparazzi shouting questions at him. “Is it true about the love triangle?” one of the paparazzo screams. Harlow looks down at the bag and replies, “Maybe.” The paparazzo hears something different, however. “Baby? You’re having a baby?” the man asks. Watch below.

“The real love triangle is us, Jack Harlow, and Doritos BBQ,” the chip brand’s marketing team captioned the trailer on Instagram.

Harlow’s presence in the upcoming Super Bowl ad is just the first of many celebrity endorsements to come for this year’s Super Bowl. Harlow himself had a highly successful 2022 with the release of Come Home The Kids Miss You. It debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 charts. Harlow also hosted Saturday Night Live towards the end of 2022 and announced his Las Vegas residency fo 2023.

Super Bowl LVII will be held in Glendale, Arizona, at the State Farm Stadium on February 12. Rihanna has been tapped to perform at this year’s Half-Time Show–her first performance in five years. She follows the wildly successful reunion of Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar during last year’s Super Bowl Half-Time show. Doritos has rolled out a social media campaign for fans to get involved in the commercial and get paid.

Wednesday was the last day for fans to enter by sharing a ‘triangle-inspired’ dance via TikTok. The winner will be chosen next week and will feature in the Doritos commercial alongside Jack Harlow. It’s an interesting way to get TikTok talking about a brand that is pretty much synonymous with game day for many Americans.
