Dead & Company are the latest group to announce a residency at Las Vegas’ $2.3 billion multi-media venue, The Sphere. The supergroup, which consists of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann, along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, and Jeff Chiment, kill kick off their 18-night residency beginning May 16th, 2024.

What is Dead & Company’s 2024 Residency at The Sphere?
Dead & Company’s upcoming residency at The Sphere follows U2 and Phish’s respective runs in the billion dollar Las Vegas venue. Dead & Company previously embarked on what they billed as their “farewell tour” in 2023, making their return to live shows a blessing for Dead Heads everywhere.
The band initially previewed the residency by posting a teaser on their social media pages. “In 2023, Dead & Company played their final tour,” the band said. “But there are other ways to make sure the music never stops. And it’s gonna be a ball.”
The residency will consist of 18 shows taking place over six consecutive weeks from May 16th through June 22nd.
Dead & Company plan to take advantage of the Sphere’s cutting-edge technology, including its high resolution wrap-around LED display and immersive audio setup to present “never-before-seen visual storytelling.” What’s more, each weekend’s three performances will feature a unique setlist.
How Can I Get Tickets to Dead & Company’s 2024 Residency at The Sphere?
Advanced registration is now ongoing for an artist pre-sale, which will take place beginning Monday, February 5th at 10:00 a.m. PT. A public ticket on-sale will follow on Friday, February 9th via Ticketmaster. The price of tickets range from $145.00 to $395.00 all in. Additionally, a number of VIP packages are also available.
Once tickets are on sale, you can also find them at StubHub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
