Taking place in August and September, the final leg will see Metallica playing concerts in the United States and Canada, as well as Mexico.

Metallica’s “M72 World Tour” launched in April of 2023 in support of their latest album, 72 Seasons. The unique “no repeat” outing sees the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band playing two nights in each city, with a completely different setlist on each night. The band plays 16 songs on the first night, and then 16 entirely different songs on the second night in each market.
Beginning August 2nd and 4th at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Metallica will kick off the final leg of the “M72 World Tour.” Remaining tour stops include Chicago, Minneapolis, Edmonton, and Seattle, before the outing wraps up in late September with four shows at Foro Sol in Mexico City.
Who Is Opening for Metallica on the “M72 World Tour”?
On the first night (Fridays) in each market, Pantera and Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth WVH are supporting Metallica. The second night (Sundays) in each city features Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills as the opening acts.
