Harry Styles concert attendees in Edinburgh have been told to print their tickets before arriving at the venue following Beyonce’s mobile ticket meltdowns last weekend.

Concertgoers in Edinburgh have been told they must print their tickets before Harry Styles’ performances at BT Murrayfield on Friday, May 26, and Saturday, May 27, to gain entry.

“You MUST print your ticket before coming to the venue; otherwise, you will not gain entry,” read the email sent to ticketholders for the Murrayfield shows this weekend.

The email comes after several Beyonce fans struggled to gain entry to her show at the venue on Saturday, May 20. Some fans said they could not get a mobile signal outside the venue, while others said the Ticketmaster app was not working.

“It was chaos — folks were unable to get tickets up,” said one Beyonce fan. “They would not accept screenshots either. It took us an hour to get a signal, and only because we went to a pub quite a bit away with free WiFi, so (we) stood outside, and the app finally worked. But loads of folk had same issues and loads of people arrived late to the concert as a result.”

Meanwhile, the email to Harry Styles concertgoers urged fans not to arrive at the venue before 12 pm on the day of the shows out of respect for those living nearby. Last weekend, Beyonce fans began queueing up outside BT Murrayfield in the early morning, hours before the concert started, leading to a disruptive morning for those living nearby.

Harry Styles will play two shows at BT Murrayfield on Friday, May 26, and Saturday, May 27, as part of his Love On Tour. Initially set only to perform one night, the pop star added an extra night due to high demand. Indie rock sensation Wet Leg will support him at both gigs.
