Los Angeles-based music company Hallwood Media has signed a recording agreement with imoliver, the top-streaming music designer from the AI platform Suno.
This deal is the first time a creator from Suno has been picked up by a traditional record label, signaling a new chapter for AI-driven music professionals and established music companies. The AI designer, imoliver, has seen early success on the Suno platform with his sonic landscapes. His breakout single, “Stone” has racked up over three million streams on Suno itself. The single will be released to wider audiences on other digital streaming providers (DSPs) on August 8.
The artist’s debut album is scheduled to drop on October 24 with Hallwood Media providing extensive marketing, promotion, and artist services. Over the coming weeks, new singles supported by branded visuals and supplementary audio content are also set for release. The content aims to introduce both imoliver and the creative possibilities of AI as part of the modern music-making process.
“imoliver represents the future of our medium,” shares Hallwood Media Founder & CEO Neil Jacobson. “He’s a music designer who stands at the intersection of craftwork and taste. As we share his journey, the world will see the dexterity behind his work and what makes it so special. What he does is exactly why I love music and why we push boundaries at Hallwood.”
“Signing with Hallwood is a huge moment, not just for me, but for the future of music,” adds imoliver.“It’s a sign the industry is ready to embrace new ideas and new ways of creating. This isn’t about replacing artists, it’s about expanding what’s possible.
