It seems that Oakland natives still have something to say about GloRilla’s recent club appearance, which ended in a fan throwing water on the 23-year-old.
On Friday, the CMG rapper posted a screenshot to her Instagram Stories in response to a troll. “The Bay don’t play,” Instagram user freddieluciano wrote and tagged Glo. “Got her ass up outta there real quick. You gotta respect real pimpin when you in Oakland. Not that phony shit.”
The comment didn’t faze GloRilla, who fired back, “Ain’t nobody scared of no damn city 😂 1 ho played & dassit. Don’t feel special.”
The incident in question happened on Wednesday. GloRilla made an appearance at the Oakland club New Karibbean City following her show in San Francisco earlier that night. Apparently club promoter Con B led fans to believe she was going to be performing, which she didn’t end up doing. One fan in particular became angry, with footage showing her tossing an open water bottle in the direction of Glo and her crew while they were exiting the venue.
Con B later posted his alleged contract with GloRilla, which showed she was paid $31,000 to perform. However, both the rapper and CMG head honcho Yo Gotti responded to the claims, saying there was no way she was going to perform for that amount of money.
Gotti wrote on IG in response to a post by the Shade Room, “30k to perform 😂😂😂 U must booked lil Glo NOT Big Glo.”
GloRilla also responded on Twitter, writing, “No way you think I’m performing when you paid for a hosting crazy tail self.”
