Fred again.. has revealed a new album, ten days, alongside a star-studded tracklist.
Scheduled to release on September 6th, ten days features 10 tracks, all but one of which are collaborations. The album boasts high-profile features from Skrillex, Four Tet, Anderson .Paak, Joy Anonymous, Sampha, The Japanese House and legendary singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris, among others.
Fred announced the new album on social media, painting a picture of a deeply personal opus where mammoth emotions nest in microscopic instants between both friends and strangers.
“my new record is called ten days. it’s ten songs about ten days,” Fred writes. “theres been a lot of biggg mad crazy moments in the last year but basically all of these are about really very small quiet intimate moments. some of them are like the most intensely joyful things i have felt, and some of them are the other side of things. and some days I don’t want to speak about loads cos I’m not the only person it was an important day for if that makes sense.”

Fred’s last solo album, Actual Life 3, dropped nearly two years ago before winning the 2024 Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album. The British electronic music superstar also released 2023’s Secret Life, an ambient LP released in collaboration with Brian Eno; and USB, an innovative compilation project he’s called “an infinite album” to which he’ll continuously add as long as he’s making music.
Ahead of the fall release of ten days, fans can also pre-order a bespoke vinyl package containing 12″ 140g white vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, an A2 poster featuring 10 images representing each song on the album, and individual track notes written by Fred. The vinyl is scheduled to ship on October 25th.
