Amazon Music announces the latest UK City Sessions livestream, featuring Franz Ferdinand live at Manchester’s Aviva Studios.
Franz Ferdinand is the latest to feature in Amazon Music’s UK City Sessions livestream, live from Manchester’s Aviva Studios. The event kicks off at 9 PM on Saturday, January 18, streamed live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music UK channel on Twitch.
Since their debut in 2003, Franz Ferdinand has continued to develop the sharply stylish sound for which the band is known. This show offers fans the chance to hear songs from the band’s latest album, The Human Fear, as well as their classic hits like “Take Me Out.” The one-off performance will be streamed live on Prime Video and the Amazon Music UK channel on Twitch, offering an unmatched viewing experience for fans at home.
Featuring some of the biggest names performing on intimate stages in unique venues, the City Sessions series spans musical genres, offering fans a unique opportunity to tune in to a show from some of their favorite artists. The intimate performance and livestream series has already delighted audiences across the US and Latin America with previous performances, including superstars like Kings of Leon, Nelly Furtado, Andra Day, The Black Crowes, Glass Animals, and Wallows.
Franz Ferdinand’s performance is one of four shows across 2024 and 2025 presented by Aviva, UK insurance and retirement business. Taking place at Aviva Studios, home of Factory International, they will bring City Sessions to yet another city steeped in music heritage.
