Following a breakout year that included a sold-out headline show at Dublin’s Workman’s Club and a slot at Ireland Music Week, For Nina are making their next move with confidence. ‘Hounds’ is a storm of driving guitars, fierce drums, and a chorus brimming with raw, youthful anxiety. The track captures the disorienting uncertainty of early adulthood, delivering it with the intensity of a band hitting their stride.
Speaking on the track, the band shared:
“The track came out of nothing really. We were just jamming out over the main riff and then everything seemed to click and within half-an-hour we had the song. We wrote the chorus in a way that hopefully highlights the uncertain chaos of being ‘twenty-something. We were in a tricky place with our college course at the time and the feelings manifested themselves within the song. At least those feelings led to something good!”
As For Nina builds toward more new music and a growing live presence, ‘Hounds’ marks a defining moment for the band—raw, honest, and full of promise.
