Copenhagen artist Fine announces debut LP Rocky Top Ballads / Shares lead single ‘Days Incomplete’

Fine, the solo project of Copenhagen artist Fine Glindvad Jensen, announces the release of her debut LP “Rocky Top Ballads,” set to release on June 7, 2024, via Escho.
Released as her first single of 2024, Fine’s (pronounced ‘feen-uh’) showcases her unique blend of folk, country, and trip-hop influences, creating an ethereal and captivating sonic landscape. The song explores themes of uncertainty and self-discovery within the context of a relationship, with Fine’s haunting vocals floating effortlessly over a mesmerizing haze of instrumentation.
Reflecting on the song, Fine shares:
“I have a piece of tape on my keyboard that has – when you do something, something happens – written on it. ‘Days Incomplete’ is about being lost but feeling as if you are close to something magical. Navigating through uncertainty, finding solace in moments of imagination, reminding myself that you don’t have know, you just have to do.”
Rocky Top Ballads is a deeply personal and introspective album, recorded, produced, and mixed entirely by Fine herself. Drawing inspiration from her childhood in rural Northern Jutland, Fine’s music reflects her diverse musical background, ranging from folk and country to avant-garde pop. The album is a collection of minimalist compositions that explore the beauty of everyday moments, with Fine’s airy vocals guiding listeners through a journey of self-reflection and contemplation.
Rocky Top Ballads will be available on June 7, 2024, via Escho. In the meantime, listeners can enjoy the lead single ‘Days Incomplete.’
