Indie-folk artist Filiah returns with her deeply personal new single, ‘Atlas,’ via Ink Music.
Following a two-year hiatus brought on by the overwhelming demands of self-management, Filiah faced a period of creative paralysis. The breakthrough came during a transformative songwriting retreat on the Croatian coast, where she rediscovered her artistic essence. The result is ‘Atlas’—a single that captures this journey of renewal. Blending soaring vocals with intricate indie-folk arrangements, the song delves into themes of self-doubt and the crushing weight of expectations.
Filiah explains:
“It was inspired by feelings of self-doubt and the struggle to meet both personal and external expectations. It explores the feeling of thinking you’re never enough, wired all wrong and struggling to believe that someone will ever get you, while simultaneously wanting nothing more than just to be yourself.”
