Drug Church recently released their fifth studio album, Prude, and are currently winding down a fall North American tour that wraps up on Saturday (November 16th) with a show at the Echoplex in Los Angeles.
The post-hardcore band out of Albany, New York, played Louisville’s Louder Than Life festival in September, where Heavy Consequence caught up with four of its five members to discuss the new LP, their thoughts on music videos, their demanding tour schedule, and more.
As far as the band’s busy touring schedule and work ethic, frontman Patrick Kindlon told us, “If being in a band and being a musician is a portion of your career … or your entire career throughout your adult life, I don’t know too many careers where you don’t have to work.”
He added, “You do the thing because that’s what you committed yourself to doing. … You write the songs, you record the songs, you play the songs.”
