The stacked tracklist is rounded out by Gucci Mane, Vory, Mozzy, G Herbo, Wiz Khalifa, Symba, Benny the Butcher, Fabolous, Moneybagg Yo, Boosie Badazz, OMB Peezy, Trouble, Jeezy, Carvena, Cyhi, and LaRussell.
Back in December, DJ Drama revealed he was in album mode on Instagram, teasing that the arrival of I’m Really Like That would be soon. During his appearance on The Breakfast Club, Drama credited Tyler, the Creator for providing him with the spark to embark on a new project.
Drama provides guest vocals throughout Tyler’s 2021 album Call Me If You Get Lost, which was heavily inspired by the Gangsta Grillz series, and even features the famous tag on occasion.
In the weeks leading up to the release of I’m Really Like That, Drama has been dropping clips in which he’s recreating scenes from the 1992 film Juice.
At around the 3:55 mark in this conversation, Drama explains how Juice inspired him to become a DJ. Considering the film’s place in establishing the trajectory of his own personal career, it became a passion project for him to recreate scenes with people from the original cast.
