Dior’s New Global Ambassador is Chinese Artist Xin Liu

Dior has announced Chinese female solo star Xin Liu is joining the brand as a global ambassador. She’s in good company with Blackpink’s Jisoo, Angelababy, BTS’s Jimin, and Rosalía.

Fresh off the heels of this week’s Dior’s Fall/Winter 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week, the artist made her first major public appearance wearing the brand and her first of many to come. Dior says Xin Liu has captivated the fashion world with her bold, trendsetting style, making her a natural fit for the brand’s legacy of elegance and innovation.

Xin Lui recently attended the prestigious British Fashion Awards as an honored guest and graced the December 2024 cover of L’OFFICIEL China. Her portfolio includes covers for Harper’s Bazaar, GRAZIA, VOGUE, Cosmopolitan, and GQ, alongisde her roles as ambassador for Dior China, Crocs, Sisley, and New Era.

Having skyrocketed to fame in China, the international star is now set on making her mark on the global music scene. After winning first place on the second season of the Chinese reality survival show, “Youth With You 2,” she quickly established her status as one of China’s most influential artists. Her album Xanadu shattered sales records, selling over 54 million copies worldwide and becoming the best-selling Chinese physical album. She brought the album to life through her sold-out arena tour in 2023.

Beyond music, Xin Liu is recognized for her dynamic presence as a dancer and was the first female captain of these Chinese dance competition show, “Street Dance of China.” She made history as the first female Chinese solo artist to perform at Coachella in 2024 and is set to take the stage at 88rising’s Head in the Clouds Festival 2025 in Los Angeles on May 31. Her single “Take A Sip” from her most recent album O recently entered the Top 40 in the U.S. Pop Radio Weekly Chart at #40, making her the first Chinese female solo artist to achieve this milestone.
