Dead & Company have confirmed they will reunite for a residency at the $2.3 billion Sphere in Las Vegas.
The band shared the news in a teaser clip posted to social media. “In 2023, Dead & Company played their final tour,” Dead & Company said. “But there are other ways to make sure the music never stops. And it’s gonna be a ball.”
According to a report in Rolling Stone, Dead & Company have signed on to “play at least 15 shows” at the Sphere this spring. The announcement comes after it was reported in December that the group was in negotiations for the residency. Further details, including specific dates and ticket on-sale information, are still forthcoming.
Dead & Company will be the third band to stage a residency at the Sphere, following U2 and Phish. So while the band wrapped up a farewell tour last summer, we haven’t heard the last of them yet.
