Cosmo Sheldrake announces Wild Wet World EP / Releases lead single ‘Bathed In Sound’

Co-written by The Earth as part of Brian Eno’s Earth Percent campaign, Cosmo Sheldrake releases lead single ‘Bathed In Sound’ from his upcoming EP.
Pioneering multi-instrumentalist and producer Cosmo Sheldrake has shared his new single ‘Bathed In Sound.’ The first taste from his new ep, the track is his first new music since 2022’s ‘No. 3.’ The track features Cosmo’s vocals alongside recordings of humpback whales, sperm whales, sounds of a bleached coral reef off Lizard Island, long horn sculpin, and more.
Of the track Cosmos says:
“‘Bathed In Sound’ is a song about trying to imagine myself as a whale floating in the ocean, immersed in a liquid medium full of sound, surrounded by plankton and the immense wild wetness of the ocean.”
Cosmo calls the EP “a homage to the ocean”. The music is composed entirely out of recordings of animals and the sonic worlds which they inhabit.
‘Bathed In Sound’ is out now. His Wild Wet World EP is out on April 26th.
