Cory Asbury, Nashville-based singer-songwriter, will headline a benefit concert on July 21 at basement East. The ‘Texas On My Mind’ concert will benefit multiple families impacted by the recent floods in Texas.

A lineup of prominent artists will join Asbury on stage including Kameron Marlowe, David Kushner, Dante Bowe, Amanda Cook, Madeline Edwards, Thunderstorm Artis, Ruston Kelly, Lizzie Morgan, Joe L. Barnes, and Rita Springer. Every artist will perform in support of the effort to aid families impacted by these devastating floods.

“When we first heard about the devastation in Texas, my team and I felt a profound call to action; these are our brothers and sisters, and they need our help right now,” Cory Asbury said in a statement. “Music has always served as a bridge to hope, and there is no better time than now to bring that hope into a very dire situation.”

“every ticket sold and every dollar raised will provide actual supplies to those in need, helping to rebuild homes, restock pantries, and restore a sense a normalcy for these folks. Gathering in Nashville to sing, worship, and rally support is our tangible way of reminding these families that they are not alone and that love always shows up.”

Tickets for the event are on sale now. All proceeds, including those from an online auction will benefit Youth-Reach Houston. This organization supports communities placed at risk by natural disasters, with established experience responding to hurricanes and floods. Every dollar raised will go directly to Texas families most affected by the recent floods, ensuring critical supplies reach those in greatest need.

Youth-Reach Houston is recognized within disaster relief circles for deploying resources and providing direct support to impacting families after major natural disasters. Their work ensures that donations supply immediate necessities—rebuilding homes, replenishing food supplies, and restoring daily life.

Asbury launched his career in church at age 14 and became a full-time artist by 21. His pivotal album, Reckless Love (2018) reached #1 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart and earned two Dove Awards and a Grammy nomination. In 2019, Asbury released To Love A Fool, which featured “The Father’s House,” now Gold-certified by the RIAA.
