Conway the Machine is gearing up for his second studio album, but before it arrives he’s delivered the video for his new double single “Quarters/Brucifix.”
The Khrysis and Daringer-produced tracks see him reunite with his frequent collaborator and half-brother Westside Gunn, following his departure from Griselda Records last year. “Quarters/Brucifix” is set to appear on his next album Won’t He Do It, which serves as the follow-up God Don’t Make Mistakes. Filmed on location in Paris, the accompanying video for the dual single arrives ahead of the release of Won’t He Do It later this Spring.
“I wanted to tap back in with my bro, Khrysis, and give em that feel that my fans know me for providing,” Conway shared with Complex. “I also wanted to set the tone for my new album.”
The latest from Conway follows the release of the first single from Won’t He Do It, “Super Bowl.” The new video splices footage of Conway rapping from the streets of Paris with him performing at various venues.
He’s set to head out on tour later this year, starting with a show in Chicago in May. The tour will run through the end of June and will feature support from Sauce Walka and Jae Skeese. “This time I’m with my homie sauce Walka and @jaeskeese this is gonna be my best tour yet!” wrote Conway in a post announcing the tour earlier this week. “You don’t wanna miss this I swear!”
