Coldplay honored Ozzy Osbourne on Tuesday night (July 22nd) by dedicating a cover of the Black Sabbath classic “Changes” to the late music icon during their show at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Frontman Chris Martin told the audience, “We’d like to dedicate this whole show to the incredible genius, talent, and character-full gift to the world who was Ozzy Osbourne. We send our love to his family.”
Martin then proceeded to sing a stripped down, shortened version of the song while playing the piano, before looking up to the sky, and saying, “Ozzy, we love you, wherever you’re going.”
