Coachella 2025: How To Get Tickets

Coachella 2025 is right around the corner, with Weekend 1 kicking off on Friday, April 11th. Lady Gaga, Green Day, Travis Scott, and Post Malone will headline the beloved festival, with artists like The Misfits, Missy Elliott, Charli XCX, FKA twigs, Megan Thee Stallion, Clairo, Japanese Breakfast, Jimmy Eat World, and many more set to play.

Passes for the first weekend are sold-out online, but fret not: there are still ways to get your hands on Coachella passes before you head out to the California desert. What’s more, in many cases tickets can be had below face value.

When Is Coachella 2025?

Coachella 2025 goes down across two weekends: Weekend 1, which runs Friday, April 11th to Sunday, April 13th, and Weekend 2 which runs Friday, April 18th to Sunday, April 20th. It takes place at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, California.

How Can I Get Last-Minute Tickets to Coachella?

The best way to get last-minute Coachella Weekend 1 tickets is via the secondary market. StubHub has plenty of 3-day passes left, and for those with a busier schedule, they also have 1-day passes available. Plus, if finding a hotel near the festival grounds isn’t looking good, StubHub has plenty of camping passes left — and if you do have a hotel booked, there are also lots of shuttle passes available to get you in and out of the festival with ease.

As of this writing, StubHub has 3-day GA passes going for $752 each, plus fees. Meanwhile, single-day passes are available for each day of Weekend 1, with Friday currently at $809, Saturday at $976, and Sunday at $743 each, plus fees. With 1-day passes being more expensive than the 3-day option, we recommend grabbing a 3-day pass (even if you have to leave early on Sunday — don’t worry, we won’t tell Post Malone).

Better Yet, How Can I Get Cheap Last-Minute Tickets to Coachella 2025?

Passes for Weekend 2 are still available on the Coachella website; however, you can pick up 3-day passes for Weekend 2 for less than face value on StubHub, with tickets currently priced at $567, plus fees. 1-day passes are also currently cheaper for Weekend 2, with Friday at $693, Saturday at $830, and Sunday at $700.

VIP passes are also still available for both weekends, with Weekend 1 starting at $1,155 and Weekend 2 starting at $1,040, plus fees.

What’s the Difference Between Weekend 1 and Weekend 2?

The lineup for both Coachella weekends remains the same, though there are some slight differences in the overall festival experience. For one, the grass on the festival grounds is usually pretty thrashed after Weekend 1, and though the festival’s staff revives it to the best of their ability each year, Weekend 1 attendees certainly get better terrain to galavant on.

Meanwhile, Weekend 1 is often jam-packed with more special guests than Weekend 2. Last year, Vampire Weekend played a surprise set, Olivia Rodrigo guested with No Doubt, and Billie Eilish showed up at Lana Del Rey’s headlining set, all during Weekend 1. While Weekend 2 featured a special surprise performance from Kid Cudi (who, fun fact, cut his set short because he fell off the stage and literally broke his leg), plus some more special guests, it overall had less surprises than the first weekend.

Still, every day of Coachella is unpredictable, no matter the weekend. As of this writing, no surprise guests have been confirmed for this year’s Coachella… but you never know.

I’ve Never Bought Tickets from StubHub Before. What Can I Expect?

Unsure about using StubHub for your last minute Coachella purchase? Luckily, orders are 110% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program, and pickup is painless. If you order well enough in advance, sellers often send tickets using a prepaid shipping label provided by StubHub. Once shipped, you’ll receive tracking information to monitor your ticket’s arrival.

For more last-minute purchases, StubHub typically provides a Last-Minute Services (LMS) option, allowing buyers to pick up tickets at a designated location near the festival. In previous years, LMS pickup was available at The Chateau at Lake La Quinta — but if your tickets require LMS pickup, StubHub will provide specific instructions, including the pickup location and hours. Make sure you bring a valid photo ID and your StubHub order number for verification.

As StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand — so definitely check back on StubHub ahead of each festival weekend, as prices may have dropped since this article has been published.
