Chris Brown was denied bail by a British judge on Friday and ordered to be held in custody as he faces charges related to a 2023 incident at a London nightclub, where he allegedly struck music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle.
The R&B singer was arrested in Manchester, England, on Thursday and faces “one count of causing grievous bodily harm.” Judge Joanne Hirst ordered that Brown be held until his next hearing on June 13th in London.
This ruling jeopardizes Brown’s scheduled 20th anniversary tour of the UK and Europe, which was set to begin on June 8th in Amsterdam.
