In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander [AAPI] Heritage Month, ARMNHMR have curated an exclusive playlist for EDM.com.
The offering arrives as the duo have begun ramping up efforts towards the release of their latest LP. Their album’s second single arrived yesterday, titled “Someone To Forget” featuring powerhouse pop star, Lights.
Amid their jam-packed schedule of high-profile festivals, including forthcoming appearances at EDC Las Vegas, Lost Lands, and more, ARMNHMR delivered a collection of roughly a dozen high-flying tracks. The selections feature prolific dance music contributions from the AAPI community including tracks such as “Hollow” by Elephante and JVNA’s “The World Is Mine.”
ARMNHMR seek to continue embracing their roots and inspire a new generation of ascendant artists from the AAPI community. “We don’t shy away from who we are and how we look. We continue to bring up our Filipino/Korean heritage,” the duo tells EDM.com. “We show fans from all walks of life [by playing these big shows/festivals] it’s possible to achieve your dreams.”
