Casii Stephan tackles racism and politics in new single ‘Law & Order’

Tulsa-based singer-songwriter Casii Stephan has released her powerful new single ‘Law & Order,’ featuring folk singer/songwriter Crys Matthews and producer Jay Burgess.
‘Law & Order’ addresses the persistent struggles for justice in a society that continues to grapple with deep-seated prejudice. Stephan, known for her emotive voice and honest songwriting, offers a raw perspective on the inequalities that remain entrenched in the South.
She explains:
“We say we’ve progressed and in many ways we have. At the same time, racial slurs shouted from cars and pickup trucks just because they can isn’t abnormal. And that’s not even getting into how our justice system is skewed, bent, and twisted.”
