Calvin Harris may be speaking his next high-profile collaboration into existence.
Calvin Harris recently set the dance music world ablaze with the revelation that he’d be returning to the studio with Ellie Goulding to complete a “trilogy” of hits. Now with “Miracle” out in full, Harris is already expressing interest in forging another high-profile pop collaboration: this time with Adele.
Taking to Glasgow-based radio station Clyde 1, Harris recalled the first time he met the “Rolling in the Deep” songstress back in 2008.
“She said she’d love to do a disco record one day,” Harris said of the interaction. “I thought, that would be class.”
As noted by GlasgowWorld, Harris still seems to be keen on making the collaboration happen, though he admitted that he hadn’t heard from Adele since they first spoke of the idea. We’re hopeful however, that Harris’ public reminiscing may bring this idea some new life in the near future.
