The past couple of years have been non-stop for Bugzy Malone and Mist.
The former has secured his place in Hollywood, thanks to a breakout appearance in Guy Ritchie’s film, The Gentleman, and the latter now has his own BBC motor show, so we haven’t had much new music from either camp lately. That all changes today, however, as they present the visuals for their new collaboration, “Energy”.
They’ve been teasing the track out for about a week on social media—including a particularly interesting clip of them using a raw steak as a mic—and now it’s officially landed. The official video is a little more traditional, complete with montage shots of them living life, switching between luxury whips and lavish private jets.
With Notting Hill Carnival just days away now, “Energy” lands at the perfect time. So expect to hear this one blasting out of sound systems and portable speakers alike throughout the long weekend.
Busy as they both are with their other endeavours, it looks like, at least for now, there’ll be more music coming from both camps this year. In the meantime, hit play on the new video up top and be sure to add “Energy” to your playlists.
