Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Lainey Wilson are the first round of performers set to take the stage at the 60th ACM Awards on May 8. Reba McEntire hosts the awards show, streaming live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
Today, the Academy of Country Music, Prime Video, and Dick Clark Productions revealed the first round of performers set to take the stage at the upcoming 2025 ACM Awards. Hosted by Reba McEntire, the 60th edition of the Academy of Country Music Awards will stream live via Prime Video on May 8.
Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson, and Eric Church will hit the stage at Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas in May. Fittingly, the 48-year-old Shelton will perform after his latest single, “Texas,” has been finding success on the country charts. His forthcoming album, For Recreational Use Only, is due out on May 9.
Like Shelton, the 47-year-old Church is taking the ACM Awards stage just in time to promote new material. His new album, Evangeline vs. the Machine, drops on May 2. Meanwhile, Wilson was the entertainer of the year at last year’s ACM Awards. The 32-year-old is currently promoting her latest album, Whirlwind, for which she kicks off a North American tour on August 14.
Nominations for the 2025 ACM Awards will be revealed later this month. Additional performers, presenters, and events pertaining to the ceremony will also be announced soon.
Last year, Wilson was the night’s top winner, alongside Chris Stapleton, both of whom took home three awards each. Wilson won entertainer of the year, female artist of the year, and music event of the year for “Save Me” with Jelly Roll. Stapleton won album of the year (Higher), male artist of the year, and artist-songwriter of the year.
The 2024 event, also hosted by McEntire, saw the award for song of the year go to writers Jordan Davis, Chase McGill, Greylan James, and Josh Osborne for Davis’ “Next Thing You Know.”
