Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny is Apple Music’s Artist of the Year for 2022.
Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti was Apple Music’s most streamed album of 2022 and is the rapper’s sixth project in four years. Apple says the rapper has ushered in a seismic shift in global pop over the last few years, which is why he’s honored this year.

Meanwhile, Apple Music 1 will be playing an array of content to celebrate Bad Bunny, including specials, archived programming, early career interviews, playlists, and a showcase of the artist.
Bad Bunny is the biggest Latin artist of all time by streams worldwide on Apple Music. After the release of Un Verano Sin Ti on May 6, it became the biggest Latin album of all time on Apple Music. His song “Moscow Mule” holds the record for the biggest Latin song of all time by first-day streams worldwide. And he has logged 22 songs on the Daily Top 100 Global, breaking the record for most simultaneous entries by a single Latin artist.
