Welcome back to Fan Chant, a weekly column for K-pop fans, stans, and newbies alike. This week, US performances are on the horizon for YG group BABYMONSTER. If you enjoy what you’re reading, feel free to subscribe to my companion newsletter to get Fan Chant delivered right to your inbox each week!
Since debuting just last year, BABYMONSTER have already made an impact. Following in the footsteps of other attention-grabbing girl groups at YG Entertainment, 2NE1 and BLACKPINK, the seven members of BABYMONSTER arrived on the scene ready to go.
Now, the group has officially announced their first set of shows in the US with a quick bi-coastal run mapped out for early 2025. The pair of shows, which will take place in Newark and Los Angeles, has been dubbed the “Hello Monsters” tour.
“We’re so excited to finally meet all of you in the US!” the members share exclusively with Fan Chant. “We can’t wait to share our music and energy with you. Looking forward to creating unforgettable memories together!”
A heads up for fans: there will be no pre-sale for these US shows, and all tickets will go on sale via Ticketmaster on December 18th at 3:00 p.m. local time. However, once tickets are on sale, those interested in attending one of the shows can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out shows via StubHub, where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
During the on-sale, interested fans can also secure VIP packages, which include premium tickets, access to the post show send-off event, access to the pre-show soundcheck party, and a specially designed VIP gift item.

Song Rec of the Week:
Does anyone love Christmas more than V of BTS? He’s released quite a few holiday tunes over the years now, and this especially jazzy offering is the warm dose of comfort we need as we officially head into winter.
